At the Table…with IL Baptist Women

This month we made history by electing Carolyn Fountain the 25^th national president of WMU and first African American to serve in that role. She is a native of Tallulah, LA where she and her husband served as church planters. Additionally, she brings a wealth of experience tutoring women in reading and writing as they earn GED’s.

After hearing the WMU report at the SBC Annual Convention, thousands of messengers rose in standing ovation in response to the contributions of WMU and the leadership of Sandy Wisdom-Martin who will be retiring as WMU Executive Director. We invite you to mark November 3^rd and 4^th on your calendars and attend the IBSA Annual Meeting in Edwardsville where Sandy will be honored for her years of faithful service to the Lord.
